Peer Advisors
Not sure where to go to get answers to questions, access resources, or get support? Would you like to talk to someone outside of your department? Feeling stressed, or wondering if your graduate school experience is normal? A peer advisor is a great first contact!
What We Do
Graduate assistants in the Hub serve as knowledgeable and informed peer advisors who can answer questions and help you navigate a variety of university services and supports. Hub assistants may:
- Assist you in using the Hub space and help you connect with academic support
- Provide support and a listening ear related to academics, planning and goal setting, career development, and grad school life
- Plan and facilitate student-led workshops and graduate community events
- Help you connect with the broader campus community and services
You can also just come by and chat!
